Spin The Globe continued
It is worth noting that in R.J. Kern’s notes to me he included the following:

“As a side note, Magellan led the first expedition to circumnavigate the world. [During his expedition he] visited location numbers two, four, and six. Magellan died in the Philippines, location number three.”

R.J. Kern’s notes on the 7 locations.

Spin 1: Kansas City, Kansas, U.S.A

"This location appeared due north from the Gulf of Mexico coastline. After triangulating the center of the peninsula marked "La Florida" with the westernmost tip of Atlantic seaboard (Virginia Beach, VA), Kansas City, Kansas seemed an appropriate location." R.J. Kern, cartographer

Spin 2: Sierra Leone Basin, off the coast of Liberia

"This location appeared to be the third point in a right triangle, with one point on the westernmost tip of Africa near Gambia and the other point on the southern tip of Liberia in the Gulf of Guinea. Monrovia, Liberia seems the closest land-based city to the Sierra Leone Basin." R.J. Kern, cartographer
